Committees and task forces help JAWS deliver the best resources, the most innovative programming and a strong sense of community for our members. Learn more about committees below.

Committees

  • Develops the programming for annual Conference & Mentoring Project (CAMP).

  • Identifies and assesses communications needs for JAWS and assists with communications messaging.

  • Identifies and assesses diversity and inclusion needs of JAWS.

  • Identifies members for board nomination and oversees annual election process.

  • Provides financial oversight and support to JAWS.

  • Provide financial guidance and support for JAWS as a nonprofit organization.

  • Supports the overall infrastructure, capacity and development of the Board of Directors.

  • Understands the composition of, assesses the needs, and identifies value and benefits for the JAWS membership.

  • Identifies and assesses JAWS programming and service opportunities.
