JAWS Webinar: Managing Stress in Uncertain Times

Join the Journalism & Women Symposium’s next webinar July 20 from 7-8:30 p.m. Eastern Time / 4-5:30 p.m. Pacific Time to learn how to manage the stressors and demands of being a journalist during these unpredictable times of COVID-19, industry insecurity and social and political unrest. Register here.

About the webinar

Today’s journalists feel under siege physically, mentally, and emotionally - with good reason. Many JAWS members have said they are concerned about their health and that of loved ones, colleagues, and frontline workers. They are also worried about burnout and their financial well-being amid layoffs, furloughs and consolidations.

In this highly interactive JAWS webinar, experts will explain the short- and long-term effects of stressors on the mind and body, show us how to incorporate self-care practices into daily routines, and answer your questions in a post-presentation discussion.
