Global Investigative Journalism – an evening with reporters from the Balkans, supported by the Journalism & Women Symposium

This special networking event is with a group of investigative journalists from the Balkans who are visiting Seattle to learn about prosecution and law enforcement in the U.S. and how anti-corruption measures are covered by the news media here. Six reporters from Serbia, Kosovo, and North Macedonia will participate on a panel with Puget Sound-based journalists to discuss their work and efforts to counter public distrust in media due to disinformation campaigns.

The event is free of charge; drinks and light refreshments will be served.

This in-person event is facilitated by the World Affairs Council’s Global Leadership Exchange and Open World in partnership with JAWS and Goltune News.
