Call for CAMP ideas

Hello JAWS Members!

We hope you’re enjoying 2014 so far! As we start the new year, we’re also starting a major push to plan for CAMP 2014 in Palm Springs, Calif., from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2, 2014. Thanks to all of you who filled out the post-CAMP survey last year; we’ve already collected lots of great ideas for panels and speakers, but we still want to know what the rest of you want out of your next CAMP too!

◦    In the recent past, our keynote speakers have included inspirational women like Gloria Steinem, Jill Abramson, Madeleine Kunin, Diana Henriques and Maria Hinojosa. Which women would you love to see speak at JAWS CAMP this year?

◦    Which topics do you think JAWS CAMP should address?

◦    Which career skills would you like to learn during a CAMP workshop?

◦    Would YOU like to volunteer to organize or moderate your own panel? If so, let us know!

If you would like to propose a panel idea, please fill out this proposal form by Feb. 15. If you just have a quick thought that doesn’t require a full description, please feel free to drop us an email ( or ) instead.

Please send us all panel proposals or feedback no later than Feb. 15, 2014. Although CAMP is still many months away, we need to make sure we can get the very best speakers and panelists to commit their time to JAWS!
