Karen Cheung-Larivee

karencheunglariveeKaren is a Web producer at Partners HealthCare, the nonprofit health system that includes Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham’s and Women’s Hospital.

She is a Boston-based communications professional with a passion for writing, editing, and photography. Her experience includes the spectrum of print, Web, and desktop publishing in both B2B and consumer media.

Her work includes covering healthcare business news for FierceHealthcareHealthLeaders Media and HCPro and reviewing consumer electronics for WashingtonPost.com and DigitalCameraInfo.com to help people do what they do better in their professional and personal lives.

Having trained with The Washington Post photo department, Karen covered Capitol Hill and the White House for daily New England newspapers. Her photography have been featured in Boston.com, The Cape Cod Times, and The New Hampshire Union Leader, among others.

Karen graduated from Boston University with a B.S. in journalism and is certified in website development from The New England Institute of Art. She is a 2012-2013 JAWS board member, 2012 JAWS fellow and a 2013 Society of American Business Editors and Writers fellow. She enjoys concerts, cooking, and community service.
