Erin Siegal McIntyre is a Senior Fellow at the Schuster Institute for Investigative Journalism, and a photographer with the NYC-based agency Redux Pictures. She holds a Master’s degree from Columbia University, where she was a 2008-2009 fellow at the Toni Stabile Center for Investigative Journalism.
Since 2005, Siegal McIntyre has worked as a photojournalist. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, Time, Newsweek, Rolling Stone, and many other magazines and newspapers. Her writing has been published in O Magazine, the Christian Science Monitor, Playboy, and more.
In 2012, Beacon Press published Siegal’s first book of investigative nonfiction, Finding Fernanda. The book, which explores organized crime and child trafficking in international adoption, was recognized by the Overseas Press Club with a 2012 Robert Spiers Benjamin Award Citation for Best Reporting on Latin America.
Siegal McIntyre is working on her second book.
