Caitlin Huey-Burns is a political reporter for RealClearPolitics, where she covers Capitol Hill. She has been reporting on federal budget, debt and deficit issues, immigration reform, gun legislation, and the tenuous relationship between Congress and the White House. She joined RCP in the summer of 2011, and covered the 2012 presidential race and congressional contests. Previously, she reported for the Politics and Policy channel of U.S. News and World Report. While pursuing her Masters degree at Georgetown, she interned at National Public Radio. She appears on MSNBC and FOX News, and has written for Glamour Magazine.  Caitlin graduated with honors from John Carroll University (in Cleveland, Ohio) with a degree in Political Science and English. She lives in Washington, D.C.
