JAWS members:

Don’t forget that TODAY is the deadline to renew your JAWS membership at the low rate of $65 and maintain your connection to this wonderful group of women journalists. We have kept dues steady but we always appreciate it if you are able to “round up” to $100 or more so that we can keep JAWS strong and provide more services to our members.

You should have received an ivory-colored form to fill out and send back OR you can renew online.

Need a reason to support JAWS? Here are a few of my favorites:

~ The listserv is vibrant with all the tips, ideas and discussions being contributed by members. We are inspiring.

~ We have recently added more features to www.jaws.org that highlight our members and their work. We are impressive.

~ Board members have been planning a solid lineup of CAMP speakers, panels and training sessions. We are insightful.

~ We now have more than 500 members, proving that this valuable network is filling a need. We are valuable.

~ Regional gatherings have brought dozens of new women into JAWS to share ideas and support each other. We are awesome.

~ A colleague and friend who supports me looked at our Web site, heard about our plans and sent $2,500 to JAWS. We are deserving.

This group makes me feel like I am making a difference for women in journalism. I hope you feel the same.
